Dana Gordon, the author of Success Tidbits, grew up in Southern California. Currently he lives in Hesperia California, in the beautiful Victor Valley area. He spent over a dozen years in retail and wholesale sales and management, several years as a production manager and to date, fourteen years in real estate sales and lending.
He co-founded two mortgage companies, is a real estate broker, and a well respected business person in his community for many years. He and his wife operate Golden Real Estate, a real estate sales and lending company; and Dasan International, which books Dana for speaking engagements and handles the distribution of Success Tidbits. He is happily married to his wife Sandi since 1984; they have two adult sons who operate R & G Construction.
Dana's education includes an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Systems. He also has trained as a computer programmer and worked as a systems analyst.
Dana is currently a member of the Victor Valley Marketing Group and belongs to four chambers of commerce. He writes a monthly column, "Success Tidbits", for his hometown paper the Hesperia Star, and from time to time for the Hesperia Chamber of Commerce monthly newsletter.
The last ten years have included serving his community on the board of directors of the following organizations: the Hesperia Rotary Club (Past President), the Victor Valley Toys for Tots, the Victor Valley Marketing Group (Past President), and in Avalon, California, and the Hesperia Chamber of Commerce.
He has also served on the Hesperia Youth Accountability Board and as a YMCA and Little League coach.
Dana has spoken to the City of Victorville staff and Success Tidbits was featured at the recent Los Angeles Times book festival!
Dana has been interviewed on television and radio and is currently teaching as an adjunct instructor at the Victor Valley Community College.
Success Tidbits is currently available in both English and Indonesian language versions. The book will be featured at the Columbine Communications booth at this year’s Frankfurt Book Festival in Frankfurt, Germany.
The purpose of Success Tidbits is to help you, and you and you to reach your goals. It is an easy to read book of aphorisms on success which can be read on a daily basis to motivate and inspire yourself to higher levels of performance.
Success truly is a journey, not a destination. Success is different for everyone. One might even say one man's success is another man's failure. You might want to spend your life surfing, rock climbing, making money, or being elected to political office. All of these are valid goals and the secrets to reaching these and all other goals are all the same.
